Group Exercise Class Descriptions


This fun 15 minute workout will help strengthen the muscles in your mid-section and low-back leaving your whole core burning! The class includes a variety of exercises and sequences to target and strengthen the mid-section. A variety of equipment will be used - weights, balls, glidiing discs, bosu, etc). No warm-up so be ready to work!

The original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast! BodyPUMP Express classes pack everything into a quick 45 minutes instead of the full hour.

This is a fun, high energy cardio workout involving kickboxing basics and strength training. You will kick, punch, and strengthen to upbeat songs.



This fun total body interval training class combines both cardio and muscle segments to get your heart rate up and your blood pumping. A variety of equipment (step, jump rope, balls, gliding discs, weights, etc) will ad to the fun of blending basic aerobic activities and strength training. No complicated choreography. . . just a basic, intense workout! Workout format and structure will change from week to week to meet class goals and offer participants variety. Leave at the end feeling both challenged and exhilarated! (Formerly called Circuit).

Sports-inspired total body workout. You will get intense cardio bursts with full-body strength and core exercises in between. A variety of equipment is used - steps, jump ropes, dumbbells, stability balls, resistance bands, BOSUs, and gliding discs. A great workout for those who want to be pushed.


These classes focus on full body muscle strengthening and may incorporate hand weights, BOSUs, stability balls, gliding discs and more. Instructors will show a variety of options based on individual ability levels. Muscle express classes pack full body training into a quick 30 minutes instead of 45.


A very different (and fun), rhythm and drum inspired class using sticks to work out to the beat of the music and make you forget that you are exercising.

The ultimate low impact, high energy, calorie burning workout.  We will guide you through the ride of your life.  If you can ride a bike, you can spin!  This is the only class you have to sign up for ... 24 hours in advance online - click for portal.



An interval class that mixes step aerobics with strength training in one incredible workout. A great choice for someone who doesn’t have 2 hours to spend in the gym but wants to maximize results!

Stop counting reps. Start training to the beat. STRONG by Zumba combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio, and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. Every squat, lunge, and burpee is driven by the music, helping you make it to that last rep, and maybe even five more. In a 1-hour class you will burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs, and glutes. Plyometrics or explosive moves like high knees, burpees, and jumping jacks are interchanged with isometric moves like lunges, squats, and kickboxing. STRONG by Zumba uses fast-paced rhythms like EDM, Hip-Hop, and fusion genres that change regularly.

All of our Yoga classes focus on basic yoga poses and healthy alignment, breathing, meditation, and relaxation.  Several instructors teach Vinyasa Flow Yoga which is a dynamic flow of yoga poses where postures are connected through the breath in a traditional or creative manner.  Also includes breathing, meditation/relaxation.



This style of yoga incorporates basic yoga poses with extended hold stretching.


Yin yoga is based on the concept of yin and yang, opposite and complementary principles in nature. In the body, the relatively stiff connective tissues (tendons, ligaments, fascia) are yin, while the more mobile and pliable muscles and blood are yang. A Yin yoga class consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that  "work" the various parts of the body more prone to stress- shoulders, hips, pelvis, legs, and the spine. The use of supportive props will be incorporated. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer. *Please advise the teacher if you have any significant injuries before starting practice*.



This class fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away.  And you will have fun doing it!

Cedardale has three Group Fitness Studios. Please bring your own yoga mat, as we do not provide those for you. Our Instructors are certified through various organizations and are also certified in CPR.
