Nutrition Lecture: Top 10 Myths Debunked
Celebrate National Nutrition Month by joining Cedardale's Registered Dietitian Samantha McCarthy as she talks about the top 10 Nutrition Myths. The following myths will be debunked:
- All Carbs are bad
- Wheat is bad and we should all eat gluten-free
- Diet beverages and artificial sweeteners are healthier
- Dairy is bad for us and we should only use diary alternatives
- Low-fat is the key to weight loss
- Eggs raise our cholesterol
- Soy is full of hormones and should be avoided
- "Natural" means healthier
- You shouldn't eat after 7:00 pm
- To lose weight, we just need to cut calories and burn more
