Aquatics

Cedardale offers a variety of aquatic activities that include: img

  • lap swimming 
  • water walking
  • water exercise classes 
  • junior swim lessons and developmental swim teams

In terms of aquatic facilities we have a lot of them:  indoors, outdoors, and under a bubble. With our newly rebuilt facility we are very excited about our amazing indoor aquatic area in the main club. With a 4-lane, 25-yard lap pool, a warm water pool, and a 12-person hot tub and loads of natural light it truly is great place to swim.  The indoor aquatic area at the main club is for members 18 years and older.

Outdoors at the main club we operate a toddler and  a baby pool, a 50-meter pool with a diving well and an adult-only recreational pool.  Our outdoor pools  typically are open beginning of June through Labor Day and are a hub of family activity all summer long.  Click for information on Summer Memberships.

Additionally, we have the Aquatic Center located just down the street at our Cedarland Fun Center facility that is a 6-lane, 25-yard pool with a deep water area and a roped off wading area ranging from 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 feet.  Our Aquatic Center will open September 17th through the end of May for junior swim programs, adult water classes/workouts/lap swimming and family swims.  It transforms into our Summer Day Camp in the summer months.

Water Class Schedule

We offer a variety of classes that provide a great low impact, body friendly workout. We will have an interim Water Exercise class schedule for the period of Sept 6th - Sept 16th. On Sept 17th the Cedarland Aquatic Center will reopen for the indoor season and we will continue with the full indoor Water Ex Class Schedule. All are below.

BETTER BALANCE for Life

Who needs balance training? People who have suffered or are experiencing any of the following conditions:  stroke, diabetes, neuropathy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, orthopedic and gait issues as well as general deconditioning. Our Better Balance for Life program is based on medical evidence that will improve balance, increase walking speed, decrease falls, improve sit to stand ability and enhance overall daily living activities. Program is open to Members and Non Members.

Lap Swimming

Our indoor pools - lap and warm water - are available for lap swimming or water walking the same hours as the club.  There is a reservation system during the mornings hours. The remainder of the day will be first come, first serve. As of June 6th the outdoor pool will be available for lap swimming without reservations.  READ MORE for complete details.

This workout is designed to build your endurance and improve your stroke. Enjoy a different workout every visit. Held in our outdoor pool during summer months. This program will move to the Aquatic Center just down the street starting September 20th. Same days and times.
