Summer Camp Waterfront Director

Job Description:
Cedardale Health & Fitness, the largest multipurpose health, fitness, and wellness
club in the Merrimack Valley, is looking for a Summer Camp Waterfront Coordinator
at their Cedarland Summer Day Camp to work with full-time and summer staff to ensure campers are following the rules
and regulations of the camp while having the best summer camp experience EVER.

Candidates must enjoy being in the company of children and have good
communication and problem-solving skills.

Position Responsibilities:

• Organize lesson plans and teach 3 to 4 daily swim classes, according to the
  American Red Cross Swim Program Curriculum
• Schedule counselors/swim instructors, evaluate and organize campers into
  swim groups with similar swimming abilities
• Participate in Special Events when needed
• Warn swimmers of improper activities/danger and enforce water safety and
  pool regulations
• Administer first aid in the event of an injury, and rescue swimmers in
  distress, danger, or drowning to administer CPR and/or artificial respiration,
  if necessary
• Ensure the cleanliness of the site

Qualifications:

• Waterfront Coordinator must be 18 or older and have 1 year experience in
  waterfront
• Certified Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate
• American Red Cross CPR and AED training
• Background checks required
