Class Registration Policy

Why do we require class registrations?

  • To enhance the member experience for a safer and more effective workout. 

  • To ensure that all have the equipment and space they need.

  • Improve communication - with class registrations, we can directly notify Members in regards to class changes due to weather related events, facility or instructor issues as well as inform you of related special events. 

How do I sign up for classes?
You can sign up for classes on the Cedardale Health + Fitness Online Portal or the App. The app is available in the app store.  To access the app you must first log in to the Online Portal.  If you do not remember your login or password please select the Access My Account button on the lower left hand side. It will send a temporary password to the email Cedardale has on file for you.  If you are not able to access the member portal and have difficulty setting a password, please call or visit our Reception desk and we can help verify your information.

How far in advance can you register for class?

Group Exercise registration opens 24 hours ahead of each class. Registration will remain open until 30 minutes before class starts. 

Is it required for all classes?
Yes, registration is required for all on-site instructor led classes. If you are in the club and have not registered for class but would like to take class please stop by Reception so they can register you for that class. This gives us a complete list of attendees.

What if I registered and I cannot make it?
If you cannot make the class you registered for, go to our app and select that class. At the bottom of the screen, select "Edit Registrations" and tap the "X" next to your name. The app will ask you to confirm that you are cancelling your registration and you will be removed from the roster. If you are unable to get to your phone or use that app, please call us 978-373-1596 and we can remove you from the class list. This will allow another member the option to take the class.

Is there a wait list?
Yes there is a wait list but it is not yet accessible through the Online Portal or the app.  If a class is full and you would like to be placed on the wait list please email Sam McCarthy at [email protected] and ask to be put on the wait list for the class you are interested in.

Is there a fee to cancel?
There is currently no fee to cancel a class.

How long will my spot in class be held?
We are requesting that all registered members arrive on time. If you are not in your place at the start of class, your spot will be given to a member that is waiting.
