Youth Fitness Certification

Designed for Junior Members 12 - 13 years of age to receive independent access to all Fitness areas within the club upon successful completion of this program. We highly recommend this program to all Student Members (14 - 18 years of age) so they may attain a better understanding of fitness as well as safe exercising technique.

The program will cover the following topics:

  • Gym Etiquette
  • Questions + Answers on youth strength training
  • Core Strength - why it is important and the foundation to all exercises
  • Lower + Upper Body exercises, equipment for each and the importance of periodization
  • Stretching and Pre and Post Workout Nutrition

The program will be delivered by a Cedardale Personal Trainer in 4 1-hour sessions. Each participant will receive documentation on the above topics for future reference.

Junior Members 12 - 13 years of age completing the program will be recognized in our club system as having full access to all fitness areas. When using the club the Junior must inform the Reception Staff upon check-in that they need a bracelet. The bracelet must be worn by the junior while using any Fitness area. This bracelet will indicate to staff that they have completed the program and are able to use the Fitness areas without Parental supervision.

Program Pricing: $175
Group Pricing is available up to 4 participants. All participants must be active members of the club.
