Fall Prevention Program

This new program to be taught by Margine Galanos, OTA is based on nationally accredited fall prevention programs: STEADI by the CDC, Otago Exercise Program and Fallproof by Debra Rose, PHD.

The goal of the program is to:

  • take assessments to measure risk of falling
  • educate the participant on fall prevention
  • learn exercises specific to fall prevention
  • build confidence and reduce the fear of falling

Participants will meet twice a week for 6 weeks and learn exercises that will improve:

  • strength
  • balance
  • reaction response time
  • power
  • agility
  • coordination
  • confidence

Meeting Days/Times/ Fees:

May 17 - June 28
Monday + Wednesday
11:30 am - 12:30 pm
$180
