Program/Class Descriptions
BARRE

Barre classes mix elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and functional training and brings them together to create a class of small controlled movements and isometric contractions to tone legs, arms and abs. Sculpt your body like a dancer, improve your posture and get stronger! Wall mounted barres along with small equipment is used to provide a full body workout.

BODYFIT

Total body interval training class combining cardio and muscle segments to get your blood flowing! A variety of equipment (step, jump rope, balls, gliding discs, weights, etc) will add to the fun. No complicated choreography…just a basic, intense workout! Workout format and structure will change from week to week to meet class goals and to offer you variety. Leave at the end feeling both challenged and exhilarated!

BODYPUMPô

Strength training for your entire body. This class challenges all the major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. You choose the weight and we’ll inspire you to get the results you came for!

CHAIR YOGA

CHAIR YOGA is a gentle form of Yoga that can be done seated or standing next to the chair for support. Great for the individual who has limited abilities to stand for periods of time or has difficulties getting up and down from the floor.

CORE

Core muscles are all the ones from shoulders to hips, front, back and around the sides. Concentrate the work in all planes of motion - extension, flexion, rotation. Small equipment will be used - dumbbells, gliding discs, bands and more will be paired with simply using your own body weight to bring about desired change.

ECCENTRICS

This is a full body toning and stretching class that’s appropriate for everyone. Eccentrics is a slower paced workout that allows full body mobility through strength and flexibility. Great as a warm-up or cool down.

GEARS & BEERS

GEARS & BEERS will be held on the first Friday of each month and will start with a 45 minute ride and will end with at Courtside for a little apres-spin social.

HIIT

High Intensity Interval Training. HIIT is a training technique that requires all out quick, intense bursts of exercise with periods of active recovery. This style of training keeps your heart rate up and is a great class to sprinkle in to your weekly routine.

Get ready to push yourself to the max in this full body workout that combines studio exercises and track workouts to maximize your time, effort and fun!

KICKBOXING

Focusing on knee strikes, kicks and punches in a class that help you develop better balance, flexibility, coordination and endurance. You may even find this a great stress reliever too!

LOWER 30

A strong lower body makes daily activities (climbing stairs, getting off the couch) so much easier! 30 minutes of strength and range of motion improving exercises - squats, lunges, hip openers, and more to fire up those large lower body muscles.

PILATES - MAT

Designed to lengthen and strengthen the core (shoulder to hips - front, back and sides) Alignment, full range of motion and connecting breath to movement all incorporated along with small equipment. Solid mind-body connection as breathing techniques merge with movement. This class is multi level.

PIYO
This class takes the best of Pilates and Yoga and combines it into one. Strengthen your core while improving flexibility to create lean, long muscles.
POUND

Cardio jam session with a great beat is what Pound by Zumba is all about! A very different (and fun), rhythmic and drum inspired class using lightly weighted sticks to work out to the beat of the music and make you forget that you are exercising!

POWER YOGA
Take your yoga practice to the next level. Designed to make you sweat, this class will improve strength along with flexibility.
RESTORATIVE YOGA

RESTORATIVE YOGA is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching which allows the muscles to deeply relax. Props like bolsters and blocks are used to support the body

SPINNING

The ultimate low impact, high energy, calorie burning workout. If you’re a professional athlete or new to class, YOU control the speed and YOU control the intensity! Instructors will take you up and over hills, sprinting down straight aways and riding strong. To insure that you get a bike, you must sign up online up to 24 hours before class begins. New riders are asked to arrive 10 minutes prior to class starting to review proper safety and set up.

STRETCH & ROLL

Maximize your results in the gym by stopping to stretch and roll. This 30-minute class will incorporate full body stretches and foam rolling, band work to enhance your recovery and improve muscle function.

STRONG

STRONG by Zumba® combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio, and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. In a one-hour class, you will burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs, and glutes. STRONG by Zumba® uses fast-paced rhythms like EDM, Hip-Hop, and fusion genres that change regularly.

SUNRISE SALUTATIONS is our version of TGIF. The perfect way to start your Friday and end your week.

UPPER 30

Many of us tend to focus on lower body when we think about strength. In this 30 minute format, weíll be honing in on all those muscles from the waist up - core, chest, back, shoulders, biís and triís! Strength based exercises combined with lengthening and stretching and youíll be walking out of the studio tall and proud.

YIN YOGA
Yin yoga is based on the concept of yin and yang, opposite and complementary principles in nature. In the body, the relatively stiff connective tissues (tendons, ligaments, fascia) are yin, while the more mobile and pliable muscles and blood are yang. A Yin yoga class consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that "work" the various parts of the body more prone to stress- shoulders, hips, pelvis, legs, and the spine. The use of supportive props will be incorporated. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer.

*Please advise the teacher if you have any significant injuries before starting practice*.
YOGA

Yoga uses breathing techniques, exercise and meditation to help improve health and happiness. Benefits include increased flexibility, improved respiration, circulatory health, balance and vitality. Enjoy the quiet time and the feel of your body as it moves through space. Enjoy feeling the length and strength of your muscles as you listen to your breath and discover a sense of calm. Practice Yoga ‘as needed’ or daily; both are beneficial to living well in an increasingly stressful world.
